So I learned how to identify when you have a problem with alcohol!
When you only have 29 dollars in your account and you buy a bunch of food and a six pack of beer. Your total is above the 29 dollars you have left, so what do you do? You put back, all but three of your ramen noodles to ensure you make your 29 dollar budget..... and.... get your beer!
Mister, you had not only customers, but employees such as myself in stiches as you left the store!
And while I am on the subject of alcohol.... speacial shout out to the man who I denied an alcohol sale to because he presented an expired ID. Love that you think I am a "bitch". Sorry, sir.... my fine is far worse than the fact that you couldnt go home and enjoy your gallon of vodka, that you were trying to buy! :0) Call me what you will....
And yes I know it is Wednesday and it is supposed to be wordless..... but I couldnt help... and dont have any photos worth posting today. Plus I am too lazy to go get my camera. But hey, there is always hope for next Wednesdays photo. Maybe hell will freeze over and my kid will start walking! :0)

Did I do the right thing??
So we all know how much I like being a stay at home mom of two kids!!
I decided I needed to get out of the house during the day. I reapplied at my former job, had an interview and accepted the position yesterday. I received all my documents that I needed to sign and fax back this morning and have done so.
Last night while laying in bed I thought to myself "Am I doing the right thing?" I have not left the youngest ones side to leave her in a daycare and wondered if I really should. Hannah really needs to get back into a daycare and school setting. She is driving me nuts!
Today I went and toured a school that I was so pleased with, I put the hold fee on them to hold their spots beginning in June. This school is just that.... a school. I was impressed and did not get any ill feelings while being there. The only what if type of thing I am facing is that, Payton MUST be walking by June 2nd or they will not have room for her until December.
Hannah is excited and will hopefully do good there! Payton... she is a mamas girl so I can only hope for good days!

What was he thinking...
OK so my bathroom has three windows in it. Two windows are in my closet, facing the houses across the street. And the other window faces the next door neighbors house.
Ok..... got it?! So I was in the shower today. I see the neighbor across the street in his back yard. He is older, maybe mid 60's. This is the type of neighbor that walks around in the summer with his socks up to his knees and just shorts on. Shirt... no where to be found.
Today I had a peep at something I never again want to see in my life. There in his own backyard, was my neighbor walking around in a button up shirt and his underwear!! I could handle it if his underwear were boxers! LOL
I am sure you are thinking he was in his backyard.... and he was. But please, when the houses around you are 2 story and looking down on your yard.... please put some pants on!!

Death to kitty
Seriously.... anyone want a cat?!
This weekend my husband had the honors of chasing a rabbit around the house because that was the latest thing the stupid cat brought in!!
He was so mad! LOL... and I only find it funny because I wasnt here.
Is it bad to wish death upon your animal?

The day has come
Today I salute all the men and woman serving our country. All my friends... most of all my brother.I never understood what people went through when they said they had a loved one fighting for our country. Until we got word Scott was going.....
15 months ago, we all braced ourselves for the worste. I even emailed him and apologized for everything I ever said to him (mostly the I hate you's and the I hope you dies). There were alot of emotions with my brother going to Iraq. My family was on pins and needles.
In time, we grew together and became stronger together! We bonded. My sister in law and I became so close. I listened to the ups and downs of her going through this on a daily basis... alone. It was hard on me, that was my brother... but I had my husband to sleep next to every night. Late night phone calls meant our hands would shake until we looked at the caller id. The news was something we really didnt watch... only the local news.
I was the person on the other end of the phone when my sister in law just needed to talk, to vent, to tell someone about something one of the kids did. I watched Jen (my sister in law) grow into an even stronger person than she already was. I never had any doubt in her faith to Scott. Even though he was so far away, she continued to do everything she did for him.
I learned from this deployment that Soldiers like to be thanked for what they do. They do not hear it enough. So when I see a soldier in their uniform I take the time to walk up to them and thank them for serving and for their bravery.
This morning at approx 6:30 Kansas time, my brother was reunitied with his family and my parents. I woke up and immediately texted Jen to just ask a quick "he home?" no response so I figured they were still doing the ceremony. My dad called and told me he was home and in his own house. I have never felt so much relief in all my life. I hung up and bursted into tears.
I have been a ball of emotions all day. I am thankful that my brother made it home safe, in one piece and alive! I am thankful that this expierence has brought our family closer than I ever thought it would. I am thankful to Scott for serving our country, for being so brave, for being a great brother, friend and father!
Here's to you Scott.... for all the things you are... and to Jen.... for being as strong as you are!
I love you both more than you know!!

A Soldiers Homecoming!
The call has been made and Scott, my brother, will be home on Thursday. His re-deployment ceremony is scheduled to be at 4:45 in the afternoon.
Looking back 15 months ago, it seemed like he would be gone forever. We wondered on a daily basis if we were gonna get a call that something happened. There were lots of shed tears and very few talks with him.
Today.... I can tell you that we, as a family are blessed to know that he is coming home in one piece and that he will be coming home alive. I can not tell you how fast the time has flown bye. Looking back on it, it seems like yesterday that he left.
Needless to say.... we are all beside ourselves knowing he is returning. I can not be there for the homecoming but have asked for lots of pictures. I will see him in a month anyway!
So today I am happier than a pig in shit just knowing that my big brother, my hero will be home in only 2 days!!

My husband.... the gangsta
Everyone who knows me knows that I have to live with watching my husband play xbox live on a nightly basis. It ranges from an hour to a few. It just depends on how well he is doing that day.
So here lately he has been playing alot of Call of Duty 4 (COD4). This bugs cause it is the same thing game after game after game!
Last night, my husband was asked to join a "clan" or as I would call it a gang. It is called KGB... this acyronym means "Killer Green Bud", which is hilarious because neither one of us smokes pot! LOL
So anyway... this bunch of kids or grown men, they play alot of different games. It makes the people that are forced to watch their husbands play the games alot more tolerable.
So with him being the new whitey gangsta of COD4,.... heres to many more nights of torture!!

I'm a mouse killer
Recently our cat (who has never been outside) has learned how to use the dog door. We cant exactly keep him in. It isnt worth us fighting with him. And lately, he seems to think he needs to thank us everytime he comes home. He has been bringing presents back to us in the form of mice or pack rats.
That was fine and dandy until he brought one into the house..... alive! There I was minding my own business sitting on the couch when the cat came roaming back into the house. I heard alot of commotion and looked over to see what the problem was. There was the cat, Samson, playing with the mouse! I ran over and tried to scare him into going outside.... yeah that didnt work. His thoughts: Why play outside in the cold and wind, when I can just keep on playing inside! So he ran right upstairs with this thing... still alive. I have to admit, it did have one foot in the grave... but it was still alive. I finally chased the cat away and got a dust pan and a plastic bag. I hovered over and pondered... how the hell am I supposed to kill this thing because I am not picking up a mouse that is alive to put in a bag.
I took a deep breath
I held my breath
I closed my eyes
And I jabbed the dust pan on the mouse.
Gross, I know... but it did the trick and killed the bastard. So I spent the rest of the afternoon cussing to my poor husband because his cat is doing this crap.
Needless to say, I called the vet to see if we need to worry about crawling around and Hannah. The girl at the vets office said that these mice can and do carry diseases. That if he is bringing them in the house not to let the baby around the mice if they are dead (duh!) and to put mouse traps up for the ones he brings in that are alive.
No offense but I dont like the sounds of either of these!! My solution is to get rid of the cat until the girls are old enough to know that a dead mouse is something that needs to be brought to Mommys attention right away. Right now, it really creeps me out knowing that Payton and the dog will play with it before I ever knew it was in the house. I say this cause Payton doesnt know any better and Jackson (the dog) well he is just dumb and he is a few sandwiches short of a full picnic!
So with that....... anyone want a cat?!

Feeling Stupid
Boy do I feel stupid:
I let her back
I missed her
I wanted her back
I thought she changed
I thought she would try
I thought she would appreciate
Now that she is back she wants to go back to the home she talked so badly of.
I dont give up easily..... but I give up now!
She won.... she got the best of me.
This is the absolute last time!
I hate being a step parent!!!

Trying Weekend
I have no words to describe this weekend. It was trying, to say the least.
Lauren had a friend spend the night and I got on her after the friend left because of the way she treated her little sister while her friend was here. I ended up crying because I was frustrated and sickened to know that she could treat an innocent child like that when her friends are around. I went to work. I came home for her to tell me she called her mother cause she wants to go back there!! Of course, Mt Robin started boiling and the lava came out full force! I lost my mind. She has said so much stuff about her mom. Nothing good of course and now all of a sudden she wants to go back? She came her to say her mom treated her so bad, her mom was on drugs, her mom just flat out neglected her. And now she wants to go back because I told her she was an ass to her sister.
You talk about hurt. Talk about a kick in the face! I knife in the back!
After I calmed down.... the answer was NO. We arent playing this game with her. She is done playing her parents against each other. Of course at 14 the grass seems greener on the other side no matter which side she is on. No ma'am! Not happening this time.
It is gonna take some time. She is a kid. Kids hurt parents all the time. It is a matter of getting past it. She will hurt us again. I am sure she will throw it up in our faces again that she wants to go back. I am strong enough to continue to say NO!!!
Needless to say, it still hurts..... hurts both her dad and I!

Hot or Not?
At work last night I saw my ex-husband (if thats what we want to call him). I have seen him here and there in the past and he likes to think we can sit down and chat. But I felt his eyeballs staring me down so I know he saw me. I looked at him for a second and thought (of course when he wasnt looking my way)..... how did I like him? What was it about him that was so attractive at the time? Why? And I went about my business.
Just got me thinking..... if a female can look at an ex and wonder what she ever saw in him, does a guy think the same or does he still think with his manly parts? I happen to think he looked so bad.... he was ugly to me. And I just wonder if he was so ugly because of what we went through. Is he ugly because I know he is an ass? So him knowing me.... am I ugly to him to, or am I still pretty in his eyes?
I dont really care what he thinks of me. He helped mold me into what I am today! I dont take anyones crap. And because of him I know what "love" is supposed to feel like! It might have taken a few wrongs.... but I got my Mr. Right now!

Just Mad and venting!
So even though my Wordless Wednesday should not have an explaination, I feel one is owed!
As you all know I have been out on a Medical Leave of Abscence since January, just returning back to work this past week. Got 30 hours last week, 26 this week, 20 next week, and the following week, 12!! Do we see a trend here!?
When I left to start my LOA, I was getting a minimum of 26 hours a week because I am part time. To go back to 12 hours really asses me up! When I left all the CSS's had specific hours and days they could work. Seemed to work then. There were 7 CSS's to share hours... today there are 8 and no hours?! WTF?! I am so mad right now at this.
What I dont understand is how there are no hours. We are getting 4 hours a day. Even on the days that I am able to work 8 hours I am getting 4 hours.
If I am so knowledgeble and needed why do I get 12 hours?
So my plan of attack is this.... I speak with the manager above me to see if there are extra hours somewhere else. I apply outside the company and work two jobs. I hurry my ass up and go to school so I can get a higher paying job.
I will quit complaining now...... just because I have a diaper to change!
